Ole Man Winter..........

Ole man winter has a tight chokehold on us for now. However, it's time to start thinking about, and planning for the upcoming events. Next up is a bi-state coyote hunt that includes New York and Pennsylvania. The dates for this event are February 4, 5, and 6th. Any coyote that is taken by legal means is eligible to be entered. Pre-registration is required. Entry forms are available at Watson's Field & Stream. Please come to the gathering of the final day of the hunt and enjoy the great food and displays by several vendors. Larry Watson new owner of former Bower's Sports Shop

June 1, 2010, Richard Bower officially retired and turned the combined sporting goods store and barber shop over to Larry Watson, Jr, who has worked in the shop since July 1998.

 

Larry has over 17 years of barbering experience and spent the last 3 years as supervisor of the Sporting Goods department at the Titusville Wal*Mart.  He has enjoyed many years in the PA outdoors gaining firsthand experience with archery & rifle hunting, fishing and trapping.

 

Larry plans to expand the inventory available in-store, and will be offering products for sale on the internet also.  The name of the store has changed from Bower's Sports Shop to Watson's Field & Stream.

 

Stop by for a haircut, a cup of coffee and some good conversation!  We hope to see you soon!
